Each planter is equipped with a built-in water reservoir visible on the side. Simply fill it every 2 to 3 weeks—the water rises by capillary action to the plants' roots. No pump, no batteries, no daily maintenance.

Which size should I choose: M (40×40 cm) or L (60×40 cm)?

The M size (40×40 cm) is ideal for starting with 1 to 3 modules or for more intimate spaces. The L size (60×40 cm) offers greater visual and acoustic impact per module. Both sizes are compatible with each other and can be assembled in any configuration.

How do you combine several panels to create a living wall?

The panels fit together side by side using a side-by-side interlocking system. You can create arrangements of 1 to 9 pieces (panels + acoustic panels) along the same wall. No special tools are required.

How do I hang the plant wall art on the wall?

Each painting comes with its own wall-mounting system. The mounting hardware is hidden once the painting is in place. Be sure to use a wall plug and screw suitable for your wall type (concrete, drywall, brick). A level is recommended for perfect alignment.

Can I change the front panel of my living wall?

Yes, that's one of the main advantages of the Artena picture frame. The fronts are interchangeable: simply remove the old one and snap the new one into place in just a few seconds. All the fronts in the collection are compatible with all the frames, regardless of whether they are M or L size.

Are the plants included with the painting?

No, the plant is not included with the plant artwork. You must order your plant separately from our store. This allows you to freely choose the species that best suits your home and your preferences.

How much light does the living wall need?

The selected plants (Epipremnum, Philodendron, Fern) tolerate indirect light and environments without direct sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight and completely dark rooms. A well-lit office, living room, or entryway is ideal.

What is the acoustic performance of the living wall?

The façade made of recycled PET felt has an NRC absorption coefficient of 0.8, meaning it absorbs 80% of mid-frequency sound waves. Installing multiple panels significantly improves a room’s acoustic comfort by reducing reverberation.

Is the plant wall made in France?

Yes. Artena’s living art panels are assembled in Lyon. The PET felt facades are manufactured in Europe using recycled plastic. We prioritize short supply chains for all of our components.

A long-lasting planter designed for demanding environments: Whether athome or in a restaurant, hotel, or waiting room, the Artena planter is designed so that the plant can withstand occasional “forgetfulness” when it comes to watering or occasional overwatering. Incorporate trailing plants, ferns, or philodendrons—a wow factor is guaranteed. The micro-perforated tray above the plant allows for drip irrigation and helps limit water evaporation. Up to 3 weeks without watering. A water level indicator helps you avoid overwatering.
A stylish frame that reduces ambient noise: For 1 or 2 panels, the frame is primarily designed to showcase your plant and enhance your interior décor. For 3 or 4 panels or more, these vertical garden-style arrangements help reduce ambient noise thanks to the high-density felt. The fiber, made from recycled bottles, is moisture-resistant and does not absorb odors.
The growing medium is also included. Designed specifically for vertical plants, the growing medium provides excellent moisture retention and will keep the roots cool for up to 3 weeks. Enriched with vermicompost, your plant will have all the nutrients it needs for at least 6 months.

Artena’s Wave collection draws inspiration from waves and the natural movement of water. Its organic curves and high-density recycled PET felt backing create a dynamic wall covering that visually and acoustically soothes your space.

The panels are made of recycled PET felt (derived from plastic bottles). With a high density of 1,900 g/m², they have a measured NRC of 0.8 and are fire-resistant (classified B S1 D0), making them suitable for use in public spaces.

The wall-mounted planter was designed for easy maintenance and to prevent “occasional oversights” when watering or occasional overwatering. The watering tray helps you measure out the water (50 cl); the water drips slowly into the planter to prevent overflow and also helps limit evaporation.
