How does the built-in irrigation system work?

Each planter is equipped with a micro-perforated tray that clips onto the top of the plant. This tray serves two purposes: 1/ It acts as a watering tray. Pour 50 cl (or one pint of water) into the tray. The water will then drain at its own pace into the planter, without the risk of overflowing or damaging the wall. 2/ This tray helps limit water evaporation. It’s this tray that helps the plant retain moisture for up to 3 weeks. It will be your ally in the summer, helping your plant withstand heat waves or survive while you’re away on vacation!

What is the acoustic performance of the living wall?

The façade made of recycled PET felt has an NRC absorption coefficient of 0.8, meaning it absorbs 80% of mid-frequency sound waves. Installing multiple panels significantly improves a room’s acoustic comfort by reducing reverberation.

Does the facade play an acoustic role?

Yes, the recycled PET felt panel is the sound-absorbing component of the panel. With an NRC of 0.8, it absorbs 80% of mid-to-high frequencies. The more panels you have in a multi-panel system, the more effective the sound absorption becomes.

How do you combine several panels to create a living wall?

The panels fit together side by side using a side-by-side interlocking system. You can create arrangements of 1 to 9 pieces (panels + acoustic panels) along the same wall. No special tools are required.

Is the plant wall made in France?

Yes. Artena’s living art panels are assembled in Lyon. The PET felt facades are manufactured in Europe using recycled plastic. We prioritize short supply chains for all of our components.

Do acoustic panels contain plants?

No. The acoustic panels consist solely of a facade made of recycled PET felt, with no reservoir or plants. They are purely decorative and acoustic, designed to connect and expand your living wall displays.
